Touchdown Adds Spice To Major Austin IT Conference

Trade shows are fantastic vehicles for exposure to the people that matter to your business and this is why the Touchdown team attends events all around world to support our clients. This October we also had the opportunity to work with a client on its own event as Spiceworks brought us onboard to handle media relations before, during and after its conference in Austin, Texas.

It was great fun and a solid success. We were happy to have journalists attend from Australia, the UK and all across the US. In all, thirteen journalists attended, taking multiple briefings each on all the news Spiceworks announced at the conference. The result was wide-ranging coverage in Forbes, ComputerWeekly, TechTarget and the Austin American Statesman, just to name a few.

It’s exciting to work with a client like Spiceworks, which is so central to the industry and brings the IT community together as they did in Austin. We love supporting our clients at events, but we equally enjoy being such an integral part of the event itself.

If you can get to Austin next October, the pumpkin-spiced lattes, beers and pancakes will be here as they always are at this time of year, but if you want some real tech flavor, be sure to get registered for next year’s SpiceWorld.
