ZertoCON 2018: Resilient, and ready to rock
From 21st to 23rd May, over 725 registered attendees headed to ZertoCON 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts to learn more about how their organisations can become IT resilient, and how they can use this to enable digital transformation.
At the event, Zerto’s CEO and Co-Founder, Ziv Kedem, took to the stage to reveal the company’s latest product news, while John Morency, Research VP at Gartner, gave a thought-provoking presentation on the new and disruptive technologies driving IT transformation. There was even an extremely interesting keynote speech from Nicholas Thompson, Editor in Chief at WIRED Magazine. He spoke about the ‘future of being human’ – exploring how humans are reaching the point where computers are becoming ultimately smarter than their creators. The team were so impressed, they went to get his autograph afterwards.
Events such as this are fantastic vehicles for exposure to the people that matter to your business: potential customers, journalists, analysts and more. With that in mind, the Touchdown team worked closely with Zerto to get the right media and analysts from the North America and EMEA to attend, making the show as impactful as possible. In total 16 briefings with journalists, analysts and bloggers took place at the show, generating over 30 pieces of coverage.
Those in attendance also got the chance to take part in the infamous Zerto party. Attendees got to enjoy the original Lucky Strike in Boston, with bowling alleys and arcade games all to themselves. The Masters of Disaster, an all Zerto-employee band, then took to the stage, really hitting home the theme of ‘resilient and ready… to rock!’.
The Touchdown team is honoured to have been a part of ZertoCON for yet another year. The event was a huge success, with many happy customers, partners and media attendees.
