Why Touchdown PR is ‘the’ place to be!

If you’re reading this then I guess you’re wondering who Touchdown PR is and why it is the place to be for graduates looking to excel in a career in public relations.

Founded in 2006 by James Carter and his wife Emma, Touchdown PR is renowned for delivering top-notch PR programmes to a plethora of cybersecurity, storage and networking technology companies. And don’t just take our word for it: PR Week has named us as the 11th biggest tech PR agency in the UK.

Headquartered in Farnham, Surrey – James and Emma didn’t want to commute into London every day and this location means you won’t have to either – it has expanded into Paris, Munich, Amsterdam and now has its 15 member-strong US base in Austin, Texas. And yes, there are plenty of opportunities to travel to these places (and more!).

What do PR grads do?

As a PR graduate at Touchdown PR, you will be working in a team for our global clients on a range of projects. From multi-region PR, analyst relations and social media influencer programs to attending technology events and glamorous award evenings in central London.  You’ll need to be a hard worker, team player and creative thinker – who is also good at prioritising tasks and meeting tight deadlines.

What’s in it for you?

With friendly and supportive colleagues, Touchdown offers a great training programme to help you learn more about the world of PR and the tech sector. There’s no better place to start your career.

Touchdown grads that joined in previous years have gone on to climb the career ladder, build teams, become mentors and travelled internationally with the company. Touchdown also does quarterly team socials, so there’s always an opportunity to have fun after a busy day pitching out a big news story.

Along with a competitive salary, Touchdown offers some great benefits including early finish Fridays, a free day off on your birthday, free fruit and soft drinks, international travel, and plenty of training opportunities.
